A purgatory statue in the Templo de San Francisco. This one includes St. Francis pulling people out of purgatory. There is a pope, a bishop, a priest, and a policeman in purgatory among others.

One of my favorite Mexican things, statues depicting Purgatory. Our Lady pulls a fortunate soul out on the left. Note the prelate in the bottom middle.

Adam and Scott in their natural habitat. Just kidding. This café is located in El Jardín de Corregidora, where there are several cafés and agressive hosts and hostesses who try to convince you to come to their café. We went to this one on the condition that they would give us cervezas (beers) at 2 for the price of 1.

This shot is neat because it shows the dome (top), the baldacchino (middle), and the barrel-vault ceiling that is over the nave (bottom).

A wonderful stained-glass window in St. Etheldreda's that features a catechesis on the Holy Trinity, in Latin. You can see in the center the word "DEUS" -- God. Then there are the words "PATER", "FILIUS", and "SPIRITUS" surrounding it -- Father, Son, Spirit. Connecting those three words are "NON EST" -- IS NOT. Connecting the three to "DEUS" is the word "EST" -- IS. Thus we learn that the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Spirit is God; but the Father is not the Son, and the Father is not the Spirit, nor is the Son the Father, nor is the Son the Spirit, and neither is the Spirit the Father or the Spirit the Son. From this we may conclude that the Trinity is Three Persons of One Substance. Is that clear?
